Terms of Service

These terms cover Väinaa Idle (the "Game"), operated by Mark Horvath ("we", "us"). By installing or playing the Game you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not play.

1. Your account

An account is created for you automatically and anchored to the device you play on. You may optionally link an email address so you can sign in on other devices with a one-time code.

You are responsible for anything done through your account, and for keeping access to your device and linked email secure.
One person per account. Do not share, sell, trade or transfer an account.
One account per person. Additional accounts, known as alts, are prohibited. Holding more than one account will result in a ban, and we may ban every account involved, including your original.
If you lose your device and have not linked an email, we may not be able to recover your character.

2. Rules of play

What happens in the Game is decided by our servers, not by your device. You agree not to:

Modify, decompile or tamper with the Game client, or send altered or automated requests to the server.
Use bots, macros, scripts or any tool that plays on your behalf.
Exploit a bug rather than reporting it. Progress, items or currency obtained through an exploit may be removed.
Attack, overload or probe the servers.
Harass, threaten, impersonate or abuse other players, or post unlawful, hateful or sexually explicit content in chat, display names or any other player-visible field.
Advertise, sell or solicit real-money trades for in-game items, currency or accounts.

3. In-game items and currency

Everything in the Game (characters, levels, items, orbs, jewels, keys, gold, shards, battle pass progress) is a licence to use a feature of the Game. It is not your property, has no real-world value, and cannot be exchanged for money or anything outside the Game.

We may add, change, rebalance or remove any game content, including items you already hold. Balance changes are part of an ongoing game and are not a reason for compensation.

All purchases are final and no refunds are given. This applies to anything bought in the Game, including the season pass. Losing access to an account, a change to game content, or the Game shutting down are not grounds for a refund. Where a purchase is made through a platform store, that store's own refund policy applies and you should contact them.

4. Player-created content

Chat messages, display names and anything else you submit stay yours, but you give us permission to store, display and transmit them so the Game can work. We may remove content or restrict chat access at our discretion.

5. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate an account that breaks these terms, with or without notice. You may stop playing at any time; to have your account deleted, contact us at support@vainaa.com.

6. Availability

The Game is provided as it is, with no promise that it will be available, uninterrupted, or free of bugs or data loss. We may take the servers down for maintenance, change the Game, or discontinue it entirely.

7. Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost progress, lost items, lost data, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the Game. Nothing here limits any liability that cannot be limited by law, and this does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

8. Age

The Game is not directed at children under 13, or under the higher minimum age set by the law where they live. If you are below the age of majority where you live, you may only play with a parent or guardian's permission.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and continuing to play after a change means you accept it.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Hungary.
